Helpful Tips for Making Salami Rollups
- Let the cream cheese sit at room temp for about 10 minutes to soften and make spreading onto the tortilla easier.
- Large tortillas work best to create the ideal pinwheel width. You can use flour, whole-wheat, spinach or low carb tortillas.
- Tightly roll the tortilla to help hold everything together. Be sure to leave about 2-inches on one end without toppings to seal the edge.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the pinwheels. This will prevent tearing or squishing them.
To Prep Ahead
You can make these pinwheels the day before serving to save time. Prepare as directed then store sealed in the fridge. Simply serve as is when ready to enjoy.
To store leftovers: These will last in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days, but are best served within a day of preparing.
