Instructions
Simple syrup: Heat sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir and heat just until sugar is dissolved, do not boil. Remove from heat, cool then chill. You can make this the night before.
Place strawberries, lime juice and simple syrup in a blender. Pulse until pureed. Strain into a jar through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds.
Create a thin layer of fine sugar on a small plate. Rub rims of 4 wine glasses with limes, then place upside down on sugar to coat rims. Divide strawberry lime mixture between wine glasses and top with wine. Serve immediately.

Note: Recipe can easily be doubled or more. Strawberry lime mixture can be stored in fridge 3-5 days, or frozen for future use.
