If making homemade refrigerator pickled beet, start with my recipe for pickled beets 3-7 days ahead of time. Otherwise, look for them in a specialty or health-food grocery store.
Preheat gas grill to medium-high heat, or about 400° F.
Lightly grease grates. Add frozen burgers, close lid, and grill 5-7 minutes.
Rotate and cook the other sides 5-7 minutes more to an internal temp of 165°. Remove from grill.
Toast hamburger buns on the grill if desired, then assemble burgers. Spread each with goat cheese and top with pickled beets and bun halves.
